When I shoot a wedding I'm typically well aware of a bride and groom's personalities and the style they're going for. I like to shoot with a second shooter or three. Needless to say I was a little nervous when I got the call to cover for a friend of a friend in need of coverage. I charged my gear the night before, plugged the address into my GPS and anxiously knocked on the hotel room door, ready to go.
I immediately felt welcomed, and it made capturing their special day such a wonderful experience.
This year has been filled with rainy weekends, but these two and their families couldn't have wished for a better day.
